- 简介:杨金荣,祖籍广东大浦,少时即开始习字,师承徐嶽瀚、黄国彬及潘受,专业教学书法。为大都会艺术学院院长、南方大学学院特约讲师及新山书法馆馆长,同时也是中华人文碑林顾问、马来西亚书艺协会原署理总会长及评审委员、柔佛州书艺协会会长和马来西亚书艺协会新山联委会主席、砂拉越州美里市书艺协会顾问和柔佛诗社顾问。杨金荣早期的作品,譬如《兰溪棹歌》,无疑带有强烈的实验性质,对不同骨法的线条和用墨之浓淡,皆有崭新的尝试与突破。其高峰期的书法创作,譬如最后一幅遗作《醉卧兰亭》,则是更多加了“留白”的空间美学之考量,充分反映出他对于自由挥洒生命的豁达人生观。

Overview:
Yong Kim Jung, whose ancestry hails from Dapu, Guangdong, started learning calligraphy at a young age under the tutelage of Xu Yuehan, Wong Kok Liang and Pan Shou. He specialized in teaching calligraphy and held various positions, including the director of Academy Metropolis, guest lecturer at Southern University College, director of the Johor Bahru Calligraphy Museum, consultant for the Chinese Calligraphy Stone Gallery, former deputy president and calligraphy review committee of the Calligraphy Society of Malaysia, president of the Johor Calligraphy Association, Johor Bahru joint committee chairman of the Calligraphy Society of Malaysia, advisor of the Miri Chinese Calligraphy and Cultural Society, and advisor of the Johor Chinese Poetry Society.
Yong’s early works, such as "The Lanxi Rowing Song", undoubtedly demonstrate a strong experimental nature, with innovative attempts and breakthroughs in different structural compositions, lines and ink intensity. His peak period of calligraphy creation, exemplified by his last masterpiece, “Drunkenly Reclining at the Orchid Pavilion”, incorporates considerations of “blank space” aesthetics, reflecting his broad-minded philosophy of freely expressing life.
